The Draft Animal Control Bylaw is on the October 7 Council Meeting Agenda

Village Council will discuss and potentially move forward with a second reading of the Draft Animal Control Bylaw No. 460-15 at the next Council meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.  The draft Bylaw could be amended or move forward in its current form.  Council will have to make that determination based on feedback received from residents at the last Council meeting.

The September 16 Council meeting saw written and oral submissions both for and against proposed changes to the draft Bylaw.  Council did not discuss the future of the proposed Bylaw at the meeting, as a number of written submission were presented at the meeting and Council decided to take time to read the information presented prior to moving forward.  The item was then put on the October 7 , 2015 Council meeting.  (Council meeting agendas are posted on the website each Friday prior to the scheduled Wednesday Council meeting)

Written Submissions from the September 16 Council Meeting

Copies of the written submissions to Council can be picked up at the Village Office and will not be posted online at this time.  At the meeting a number of people requested to have copies of the written submissions to Council and they have been redacted and can be picked up during regular office hours.  All information, letters to Council and submissions to Council become public information.
