The Stirling Cemetery Society is Sponsoring a Clean Up Day at the Cemetery

The Village annual volunteer clean up day is now being hosted by the Cemetery Society.  The clean up day is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016.  Activities will start at 9:00 a.m. and will be focused on the cemetery grounds along with construction of a new on site storage shed.

Cemetery grounds clean up will include:  tree trimming, spreading topsoil, general cleanup and headstone marker leveling.  There will also be tree planting and some work will be done on the tree irrigation drip system.

The Society is in need of a minimum of 50 volunteers to be able to accomplish all the scheduled activities.  For more information contact Society President Maurice Duncan or the Village Office.

Please bring rakes, shovels, gloves and enthusiasm.  Meet at the cemetery at 9:00 a.m.  A lunch will be served around 11:30 for all volunteers.
