Garbage drop off back to 2 days a week

The Stirling Solid Waste Transfer Station will be open Tuesday and Saturday as follows:

Tuesday 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Winter hours run from November – March each year.

Transfer Station Upgrades

Transfer station upgrades are scheduled for the early part of next year.  Village Council recently approved the plan in principal.  Preparations at the site will begin in the next few months with the majority of the work taking place in early 2017.  The updates will allow for improvement to the Village recycling program and will help divert recyclable materials from the transfer station and landfill.  More information will be made available over the coming months.
