CHAUTAUQUA 2017

It’s Back – Year 2 of Chautauqua in Stirling & RaymondMormonTrail Logo

Two days of fun scheduled for Southern Alberta on June 16-17.  Activities fall under the main themes of the event including Education, Cultural Arts, Spirituality and Recreation.  Chautauqua 2017 is sponsored by the Canada Mormon Trail tourism initiative.

Chautauqua’s Got Talent – $2000 First Place Prize

Stirling will host the opening night show for Chautauqua’s Got Talent on Friday, June 16.  Prizes will be $2000 for first, $1000 for second and $500 for third place.  There are only 25 spots available so sign up soon.

Raymond will host the “finals” on Saturday, June 17.  With judging taking place live that evening.

Live Theatre Production Show Featured Each Night – June 13-17

Raymond will host the theatre production show each night June 13-17.  The a original production live theatre show “Diggers”, is Volume 2 of the Chautauqua series.  The show is based on the settling of the community of Magrath.  It will run each night at 7:00 p.m. at the Raymond playhouse theatre.  Ticket cost $15/person and be purchased online at the Cardston Community Theatre website.
