The Spring Cemetery Clean Up Day Rescheduled for Saturday, June 10

After being rained out last month the Cemetery Society is looking for volunteers to help on Saturday, June 10.  The rescheduled clean up day will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be focused on the cemetery grounds.  This is the second year in a row the Annual Volunteer Clean Up Day is being hosted by the Cemetery Society.

Cemetery grounds clean up will include:  tree trimming, spreading topsoil, general cleanup and headstone marker leveling.  There will also be work done on the dozens of trees planted last year.

The Society is in need of a minimum of 50 volunteers to be able to accomplish all the scheduled activities.  For more information contact Society President Maurice Duncan or the Village Office.

Please bring rakes, shovels, gloves and enthusiasm.  Meet at the cemetery at 8:00 a.m.
