Village Election 2017 – Nomination Day September 18. 

Stirling along with the all of Alberta will be holding a general municipal election in October.  Residents will have a chance to elect 5 Village Councillors.  If you are interested in running for one of the Council positions please mark September 18, 2017 on your calendar as Nomination Day.

Nominations will be accepted Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Village Office.  Nomination forms, Registration of Notice of Intent forms and the Candidate Information Package can be picked up at the Village office during regular office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).  All the necessary information is also available at:  stirling.ca/government/municipal-elections

The General Election Vote will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Stirling Community Centre.

Advanced Vote day is Monday, October 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Village Office. Middle Room.
