Any store front business or home based business is required to apply for a business development permit.  After obtaining the appropriate permit you must then annually purchase a business license.

Business Licenses

In 2013 Business Licenses will be available for $10.00 for local residents and for $50.00 for non-residents.  Business Licenses can be obtained at the Village Office.  The license is recognized in Raymond, Magrath, Coaldale, Barons, Picture Butte, Coalhurst and Nobleford, only if you are from Stirling or one of these communities.

Anyone with a current business license can have your business listed on the stirling.ca website and in the “Welcome to Stirling” package available from the Village Office.
