Pajama Run Cancelled

Low Registration Leads to 5K Run Being Cancelled

As Setter Days is set to kick off 3-days of events this evening, one of the signature events is cancelled.  Less than 20 people had signed up by the Friday deadline.  The event usually has over 120 participants.  The difficult decision to cancel the annual run was made after careful consideration as will leave a big hole in the Saturday schedule.

The event requires about 20 volunteers (and many hours) and running the event with a very small number of sign-ups made it difficult to require all the volunteer hours.  Organizer Stephanie Michelson said it was a hard decision as she enjoys volunteering her time for such a fun event.  Michelson indicated it will be back again next year with hopes that many people will sign up.
