Looking for volunteers.

The Village of Stirling is looking to re-establish its Cemetery Board.  If you have an interest in or a concern for the Stirling Cemetery you may be the perfect person to be involved as a board member.  Board members will be able to have a voice in where the Cemetery will go into the future.  We need people who have a vested interest and will be willing to put some work into this great community treasure.

What’s required?

The Board will be made up of 5 community volunteers.  Each board member would be required to attend between 4 to 6 meetings each year.

The board would become the managing body for the Stirling Cemetery.  The board could get Society status, which would then give the board access to funding to help with potential projects and maintenance staff.

After all the volunteer positions are filled the new board will have a organizational meeting.  They will then choose a Board Chair and other relevant positions.
