An update to 1st Avenue Intersection Closure and Road Detour post.

Work at the Lift Station and the Bulk Water Station is beginning to wrap up, and the entire project is in its final stages. 1 Avenue and 8 Street are once again open to traffic.

While work is paused the week of November 10, it will continue the week after, so please be aware that there will possibly be additional detours, delays and disruptions.

Once again, THANK YOU! To our residents who were going to sleep and waking up with the generator noise, the spotlights illuminating their houses at all hours of the night, and the detours impacting their drive home. THANK YOU to our residents and our County friends who use the Bulk Water Station and Transfer Station while negotiating detours on short notice. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. We know it can be a pain because it impacts you directly, but this project will help our little Village immensely in order to grow, as well as help in with high water events (remember the storm and rain we got in May?) to make sure that wastewater gets where it needs to go, and not into basements!
