In June, Council was seeking feedback from Village residents about the new Municipal Development Plan (MDP). As previously mentioned, it is a provincially required planning document which takes the Village of Stirling’s goals and objectives for future development and creates policies that will aid in achieving them. A key component in preparing a MDP is understanding what is important to residents of the community. Those opinions are essential in helping establish goals, objectives and policies for Stirling’s desired future.
