With Summer just around the corner gardens and green lawns are in full bloom, and with landscaping and yardwork comes lots of mowing. Please do not leave grass trimmings on roadsides and sidewalks. When these cuttings get wet (due to rainfall and from people watering their lawns), they get clumped together and pulled into the storm sewer, where they stop other material from flowing though, creating eventual blockages.

Please dispose of them at the Transfer Station if you do not wish to use them as compost at your residence.
