Weekly Garbage Collection Program to Begin Next Month

The Village of Stirling is working towards a new weekly curbside garbage collection program.  A truck has been ordered and should be arriving in the Village in the next few weeks.  Residential garbage bins will be delivered in mid May with collection starting shortly after.  We hope to have collection begin the last week of May with billing of the new service being added to utility bills in June.

More information will follow as information becomes available.  A full presentation on the new garbage collection program will be part of the agenda at the May Town Hall meeting.

The Village Transfer Station Open Summer Hours

The transfer station will continue to be open regular hours over the next few months during the launch of the new weekly curbside collection program.

Summer Transfer Station Hours:

Tuesday –   4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday – 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday –  9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
