Summer 2021: Gravelling & Oiling Roads
Beginning on June 7, the Village Public Works team will start to add gravel to some of the roads in town in preparation for oiling. The County of Warner is in charge of the oiling schedule and may only be able to provide us with have a few days notice prior to oiling. Oiling will begin the middle of June and continue into the beginning of September, as per the County’s timeline.
- 2A Street between 1 Ave and 3 Ave
- 4 Street between 1 Ave and Hartley
- Hartley Avenue between 4 St and 5 St
- 5 Street between 1 Ave and Hartley Ave
- 3 Avenue between 6A St and 7 St
- 7 Street between 3 Ave and Dead End
- 1A Avenue between 2A St and 2 St
- 4 Avenue in front of Riding Arena
During this process the roads will be “soft” as new gravel will be laid. This gravel will be left to settle for approximately one week. We ask that you use alternate routes if possible.
