Mayor Stacey Maynes
Stacey has proudly called Stirling home for the past 30 years, where she has raised her family and built both her personal and professional life. Stacey works as a Family Support Worker with FCSS, where she is passionate about supporting individuals and strengthening the community. A few of her strengths include planning community events, bringing people together, and creating spaces where individuals feel heard and supported.
She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta and brings a strong foundation of connection, collaboration, and care to everything she does. She is known for being reliable, approachable, and always willing to listen and learn.
Stacey was elected as Mayor at the October 21, 2026 Organizational Meeting and is serving her first term on Stirling Council.
She is a member of the Municipal Planning Commission and is a Council representative for:
- Emergency Management Committee
- Joint Use Planning Committee
- Community Events Committee
- Municipal Library Board
- Chinook Arch Regional Library Authority
- Regional 4 Mayors
- Ridge Country Housing Authority
- Ridge Utilities Ltd
- Southern Alberta Chief Elected Officials
- Warner County Regional Emergency Management Committee (CoWREP)
Stacey is grateful for the vote of confidence she received from our community members. She is deeply committed to the well-being and growth of the community and is proud to serve the residents of Stirling.
