June 6, 2023 – Emergency Water Line Break

Update: Tuesday, June 6 @ 4:40 p.m.

Water has been restored! Please be gentle with water usage as the system is still pressuring up. Run your taps for a few minutes to get rid of any turbidity.

A huge thanks to our contractors and our Public Works crew for their work. It is greatly appreciated!

Update: Tuesday, June 6 @ 2:45 p.m.

Crews continue to work on repairs. One valve is complete and they are working on the second valve at this time. They are trying to have the repairs completed and the water turned back on as quickly as possible.

Update: Tuesday, June 6 @ 11:10 a.m.

Crews are currently onsite and repair work is underway, including digging up part of the road.
Please avoid the area if possible and give public works and onsite crews the room to work.

Tuesday, June 6 @ 8:45 a.m.

Public Works are on site at an emergency water line break at the intersection of 2 Avenue and 4A Street. WATER HAS BEEN TURNED OFF IN THE AREA (INCLUDING ALL OF 2 AVENUE). Alberta One Call has been notified and crews have been dispatched.
