Ridge Regional Public Safety Services Commission (RRPSSC)

RRPSS Community Peace Officers (CPO) investigate and resolve complaints regarding Municipal and County Bylaw matters, Animal control and provide municipal/county traffic enforcement coverage while ensuring public education, awareness and safety.  

Services provided:

Municipal enforcement of bylaws

Unsightly premises enforcement

Animal control (impound/kennel services)

Provincial traffic enforcement

Community liaison/education

Bike Rodeos

Uniformed patrol presence

Assist local police 

Campground patrols

and more

The RRPSS is governed by the Ridge Regional Public Safety Services Commission (RRPSSC) that sets the direction and priorities for the Community Peace Officers and ensures proper oversight and accountability for all member municipalities it serves.  The RRPSSC consists of elected officials from the participating member municipalities.
