Canada Post - Is There Going To Be Another Strike?
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) and the postal service are trying to reach a deal on a new collective agreement before their old one runs out.
Negotiations between Canada Post and its union resumed this week, after breaking off without agreement in March. The existing collective agreements expire on May 22, 2025, paving the way for a potential lockout or strike.
In the event of a strike or lockout, we encourage residents and bulk water users to have their bills emailed to them. If this is something you would like to do, please contact Administration at 403-756-3379, email us at office@stirling.ca, or submit a Service Request at Service Request Form - Stirling, AB Paper bills will be available at the office for pick-up.
