Council Strategic Planning Session
A municipal council strategic planning session is a focused workshop where Council and the senior Administration step away from day-to-day operations to set the municipality’s long-term vision, priorities, and goals. Through reviewing current conditions, setting future direction, and aligning actions with available resources, the session helps translate community aspirations into clear, achievable plans. It also establishes performance measures and reporting processes to ensure progress is monitored, transparent, and accountable over the coming years.
On Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31, Mayor Scott Barton, Deputy Mayor Stacey Maynes, Councillor Justin Davis, Councillor Matthew Foss, and Councillor Nikole Norris, along with Stirling CAO Scott Donselaar and facilitator Trevor Lewington spent the days reviewing and discussing goals and visions for Stirling's future.
