Did you receive the Alberta Emergency Alert Test on November 19th? These bi-annual test alerts are a helpful reminder to get informed before an emergency and prepare to stay informed during an emergency to build resiliency. #BePrepared by:

  • Connecting with your local authority to learn how critical instructions are delivered during emergencies and following their recommended sources.
  • Keeping mobile phones and other electronics charged. If possible, invest in a portable charging bank for a backup solution during power disruptions.
  • Creating and verifying an Alberta.ca account before an emergency so that you can learn what supports and services you may be eligible for during an emergency.
