RCMP Priorities for Stirling - Survey Results
On Friday, February 20, 2026, Village Administration published an online survey with the following:
The
RCMP are asking Stirling residents to identify their top three policing priorities
for our community. Please select the three areas you would like them to focus
on:
- Traffic Enforcement
- Community Events
- Active Patrols
- Crime Prevention
- Education Presentations
- Other:
The survey was closed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 9:30 p.m. There was a total of 66 responses.

“Other” responses included:
- Animal control (specifically dogs)
- Law enforcement for traffic violations including
- speeding in school and playground zones
- stunting
- traffic signage being ignored
- Law enforcement for cyclists and e-scooters/e-bikes
- helmets
- speed
- Greater police presence during school drop-offs and pick-ups
- speeding
- no seatbelts
- kids riding in parents’ laps and not in car seats
- Bylaw enforcement
