Friendly Reminder: Please Keep Streets Clear for Public Works

To ensure our Public Works team can safely and efficiently maintain and clear our streets, and in accordance with Policy OP01-22 – Snow Clearing, we kindly ask all residents to keep roadways free of obstructions. Recently, several streets have been difficult to access due to campers, parked vehicles, and garbage bins left out after collection.

When streets are blocked, it delays essential services that keep our community running smoothly.

Please help by ensuring:

• During heavy snowfall advisories, please take a moment to ensure streets are cleared of campers, vehicles, bins, and other items ahead of time, so our Public Works team can respond quickly and safely.
• Vehicles, trailers, and campers are not parked on the street when heavy snowfall is expected or has occurred.
• Garbage and recycling bins are brought in promptly after pickup.
• Any personal items or debris are kept off the roadway.
