2025 Property Tax Pre-Payment Discount

Beginning January 1, 2025, the Village offers a payment discount of 3% to any resident who pre-pays their 2025 property taxes.  For further details, you can find the Bylaw 522-22: Property Tax Incentive Plan.  The discount applies to the municipal portion of the taxes only.  Residents have until Saturday, February 15, 2025 to make full payment of their property taxes.

Payment will be based on the 2024 Taxation Notice and Property Assessments, as the 2025 Taxation Notice and Property Assessments are not available until the end of April.  After the 2025 property tax information is available, adjustments will be made to any pre-paid account.  Adjustments will either be a credit to the account or require an additional payment.  Make sure to read your 2025 Taxation Notice and Property Assessment carefully to see if you owe additional taxes.

Payments can be made at the Village Office.  The Village accepts cash, cheque, debit, credit card and e-transfers.  You can send e-transfers to payments@stirling.ca - please make sure to include in the message your street address or your tax roll number.
